# Get assistant

> Retrieve one assistant with its complete configuration — prompt, voice, tools, settings and SIP details.

Returns a single assistant with the whole configuration document. Use this when you need more than [the list](/api-reference/assistants/list) ships.

## Path parameters

## Errors

| Code | Status | When |
| - | - | - |
| `NOT_FOUND` | 404 | No such assistant, or it belongs to another workspace. The two are deliberately indistinguishable. |
| `VALIDATION_FAILED` | 422 | `id` is not a UUID. |
